Warehouse Assistant (2 - 3 Months Contract) (5 Days Work - Low OT)

• Assist a wide range of warehousing and operations role.
• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Picking, Labelling and Packing goods to meet safe shipping standard
• Informed Sales Support for the shipment weights and dimensions
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Opening bales, crates, and other containers.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• Weighing and counting items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Filling requisitions, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated
route driver storage area.
• Sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wearing the proper safety equipment.
• Able to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment meeting company biz safe standard (for candidates with forklift
• Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• Ad-hoc assignments by management.
• Have a strong initiative and self -motivated with good learning mindset
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently without supervision
• May need to be physically fit. Will need to handle heavy with help or lifting tools
• Candidates should be open to working on overtime, when urgently required. Usually will have no OT’s unless month end or year-end period. Employer encourages good work / personal life balance.

Miscellaneous Information:
• Working Hours: Mon – Fri: 8.00am – 5.15pm (45 mins lunch break.)

• Location: Bukit Batok Area (Bukit Batok MRT – Walk 8 mins or take public bus) (can take bus from Jurong East MRT also)
• Remuneration Package: $1,800 - $2,000 (dependent on experience) + Attractive Welfare Packages
